Our right to call a popular referendum.

We the people of the state of Indiana (U.S.A) currently do NOT have the right to call a popular referendum on an important matter of public concern. Denying people such right is not acceptable in a modern democratic society.

The reform proposed here is to establish the right of citizens to introduce their own proposals to be put to binding popular referendum. An agreed number of supporting signatures must be collected to start these procedures.
