Most countries have a constitution that spells out the representative nature of their democracy. Most of these constitutions were written in times when it was inconceivable to involve more than a few hundred men in the decision-making process associated with the suggesting, debating & voting of the laws of a nation.

With the advent of internet technologies, everyone in voting age can and should be involved in this decision-making process. This is how nations of responsible, engaged & wise citizens are born.

The time has come to rewrite the constitution of our countries to ensure the right of the people to participate, in direct democracy, in the legislative process.

For such occasion, a constitutional convention would need to be called upon where the People could decide the content of their new constitution. Once the new constitution drafted, a popular referendum would be called to validate it.
