This piece of news is fictitious and is inspired by a prank played by a coalition of artist-activists including The Yes Men, The Anti-Advertising Agency, CodePINK, Not An Alternative, UFPJ and others who hack the media with a fake version of the New York Times.
This piece of news may seem improbable today but, if the country was to embrace direct democracy, it could soon become a reality.
